About Us

 Power 26 Dance Academy is a dance program offering multiple genres of dance training and mentoring in the North Baton Rouge area. We offer a staff of 4 classically trained dance instructors/coaches who possess the stylization and knowledge needed for our area of service. All are well versed in traditional & foundational dance genres including Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Hip-Hop, Team Dance, Majorette, Contemporary, Lyrical and more. Each staff member has held high-ranking leadership roles on various collegiate and professional teams and possesses notable dance resumes. The goal to blend studio training with a dance team focus will aid in the complete development of our students.  Additionally, we offer mentorship to each student including, but not limited to, school check-ins, grade progress check-ins, and college admission preparation. By helping to fill in any emotional gaps, providing stability and instilling high confidence in our students, we are helping to build strong individuals who will be the positive and effective change our community needs. Our students perform throughout the year at various scheduled events and travel to competitions and dance conventions, however, the priority is growing their academic dance knowledge and ability.
